Each user's characteristics determine their role and capabilities in Amazon Connect. These characteristics include the routing profile, security profile, and phone type.
How to change a user's characteristics
You can edit a user's characteristics (details and permissions) by:
- Going to Users then User management in the Amazon Connect Dashboard.
- Find and select the user.
- Click Edit to update details like name, phone type, routing profile, or security profile.
- Save your changes.
Users can also be edited in bulk.
