How to set Agent Languages

Agents can set the language in which they want to use Engage by changing the language in their Agent Settings.

[.callout-primary--help]By default, Agents will be set to use English (US) as their language.[.callout-primary--help]

The language setting is used to control the following:

  1. The language displayed throughout the Engage UI
  2. The date formats displayed throughout the Engage UI
  3. The language used by Smart Tools to perform grammar checks, lengthen and shorten messages

[.callout-primary--info]Agent Settings are controlled by the Agent, and are specific to an Agent. Any changes made to Agent Settings apply only to the individual Agent.[.callout-primary--info]

To change your Language setting:

  1. Click the Agent Settings button, on the bottom left of Engage
  2. Open the Language dropdown
  3. Select the relevant language
  4. Click the Save button, on the bottom right of Engage
