After the Engage CloudFormation stack has been created, the SES configuration must be completed. To do this, navigate to Amazon Simple Email Services (SES), keeping in mind that this might be configured in a different region to your Amazon Connect instance.

Select 'Email receiving' and validate that an active ruleset is in place.

Click on the active ruleset to open it.

Validate that a rule has been created which includes the name of the Engage CloudFormation stack.

A new receiving rule - containing the receiving email address specified in the Engage CloudFormation stack - will be created every time a dual stack update is performed.

[.callout-critical--alertmessage]New rules will be disabled and have to be enabled manually at the same time that the tenant configuration is updated by Local Measure.[.callout-critical--alertmessage]

To add additional receiving mailboxes to this rule, click on the rule to open it.

Verify that the email address is listed under 'Recipient conditions'.  To add additional recipient addresses, click 'Edit'.

Click 'Add new recipient condition' and fill in the required email address in the text field and then click 'Next'. Provided that the required Contact Flow configuration is in place, emails to these email addresses will now be routed via Amazon Connect.
